Use the search below to find and verify an individual's active or Emeritus certification. Search the certified nurse's name and their record will appear below. To print or download the certification verification, click the arrow to the left of the ID#, and click the "Print" button. For formal requests, see more information below.

Online verification can confirm a nurse's current and Emeritus ONCC certification status. Names of nurses currently certified by ONCC are available to the public. This service provides the name of the certified nurse, home city/state, and certification status. It does not provide confidential information, including names of candidates registered to take a certification examination, names of nurses who fail the examination, and individual candidate's test scores.

This system provides primary source verification for OCN^®, AOCN^®, AOCNP^®, AOCNS^®, CPON^®, CPHON^®, CBCN^®, and BMTCN^® certification status. Emeritus status provides special recognition to permanently-retired nurses who once held an ONCC active certification. ONCC cannot provide primary source verification for the educational preparation or professional experience of an individual.

If you suspect a nurse is misrepresenting him/herself as an ONCC-certified nurse (active or Emeritus), please report it to ONCC. Reports of misconduct are confidential and you may report anonymously by leaving a message at 412.859.6224 or emailing oncc.tipline@oncc.org.

Third-party requests for credential verification that require ONCC to complete a verification form or provide verification on official letterhead must request the verification in writing, include a $15 fee, and include the nurse's full name and home address.
